East Coast & New England
RV & Motorhome Rental New York
The New York area is the launch point for an East Coast RV trip — north into New England’s villages and coastline, up to the Adirondacks and the Finger Lakes, or down the Atlantic seaboard. It’s especially popular in autumn for the world-famous fall foliage.
Prices are shown in US Dollars (USD) — the currency of the country where the RV is hired.
Depots are in the wider metro area rather than Manhattan. CamperCompare compares the major RV brands so you can find the right vehicle for a New England or East Coast tour.

When to Rent in New York
Late spring through autumn (May–October) is the RV season. September and October are the highlight for New England’s fall colours — book early, as it’s the busiest and most beautiful time of year. Winters are cold and not suited to RV touring.
Pick-Up Tips
- Collect the RV outside Manhattan — city driving and parking are impractical.
- Reserve New England campgrounds well ahead for the autumn foliage season.
- Check bridge and parkway height/vehicle restrictions around the metro area before setting off.
