When to Go: Wet vs Dry Season
The dry season (May–October) is the only practical time for most campervan travellers. Roads are open, waterfalls are flowing, the heat is bearable (25–33°C), and parks are fully accessible. The wet season (November–April) brings monsoonal rain, extreme humidity, road closures and crocodile risk at swollen rivers. Unless you know what you're doing, visit in the dry.
